Check out this article which confirms what most people is that Microsoft’s BING search engine is not being used all that much.

After some growth in the first few months in now turns out that Bing use has been dropping for the past few months. In fact in the past month of September Bing dropped 1.17% over the previous month.
I know that I checked out Bing when it first came out and the basic conclusion that I came to was that Bing was not that impressive. Yes, it was a search engine but it did not do anything special or anything things impressive enough to make me switch.
There is also my personal hatred of their commercials and slogans for BING….. “Your decision engine”. I don’t know about you, but I hate the idea of having Microsoft making decisions for me. Don’t the guys up at Microsoft understand that we, the public, have a real trust issue?
If Microsoft wants me to switch from Google they are going to have to first prove to me that they are not “modifying” the search results and they are going to have to give me something that Google is not. I don’t know what that is, but since Microsoft only knows how to copy or steal form other companies I honestly don’t think that we are going to see anything original coming out of Washington State.
