When most people think about links they tend to think about links from site to site. These are known as inbound links or are often called by SEO’s as Backlinks.
There is another type of link beyond this which are the internal links which tie the whole site together. These are the links are just as important as the links coming into a sight. Some feel that they can even be more important because a web designer can totally control these links. By control you can use any text that you want to in these links, including putting a few keywords in them.
This keywording of internal links is a very powerful way of getting a search engines attention. By doing this simple step one can really increase their ranking.
